Background

Founded in 2017, Stephenson Law challenges the legal industry by offering unparalleled service and expertise without the typical corporate stuffiness. From strategic legal advice to supporting day-to-day matters, Stephenson Law deals with a host of clients from startups to in-house legal, procurement and privacy teams.

Challenge

Stephenson Law approached Bristol IT Company looking for a local IT solutions provider to deliver a more formal, structured IT strategy to improve security and facilitate efficient working. They also wanted to ensure that they had the most robust security available, as is appropriate for a law practice.

Solution

In order to bolster security, Bristol IT recommended upgrading their current Office 365 subscriptions to Microsoft 365 to provide domain security, including centralised control of all Stephenson Law user accounts, and management of all company devices.  

In addition to the above improvements, Bristol IT proposed that Stephenson Law engaged in a Managed IT service that includes fixed rate proactive IT support based on the number of users.  This model is in use with other customers and has been designed to deliver the best possible experience with a proactive approach. The Service Desk is always manned by members of the technical support team and we have tried and tested systems and processes in place to ensure the highest possible levels of up-time, and fault resolution. As part of Bristol IT’s Managed IT package clients also receive quarterly service reviews and annual technology reviews to ensure the best service is being delivered and the IT strategy is regularly reviewed and adapted. 

Results

As a result of taking on Bristol IT as their Managed IT provider, Stephenson Law now benefit from a proactive approach to IT support with issues often being spotted before they become disruptive. Stephenson Law can relax knowing that their IT is well looked after by a knowledgeable, personable team at Bristol IT. What’s more, due to the geographical flexibility of the implemented security enhancements, a member of the Stephenson Law team has been able to permanently move and work overseas with no concerns to the security of company or customer data.
